We have one only rarely available Salter mechanical crane scale to 4500kg, second-hand stock, onsite at Advasco.
These excellent scales are no longer available new and difficult to find.
This scale is ideal for work in areas where electronic scales are not suitable:
- very hot environments
- environments where electrical circuitry may be a potential explosion risk
This one's in excellent working order and comes with a 6-month guarantee.
Remember that your scale is actually a small computer: so -
Keep your scale as dry as possible at all times.
Clean the scale with a DAMP cloth - a LITTLE dishwashing liquid is okay.
Do not expose your scale to strong cleaning foams or chemicals.
If your scale is located on the floor we strongly recommend keeping the weighing capacity to 150kg to avoid damage from accidental overloading, a common one being when a person walking by stands on it to check their own weight!
If possible, try to cover the indicator with a clean plastic bag to protect it from water when in use.
Always remove the scale from the production area before a general clean-up, or if this is not possible, give it as much protection as you can.
AND SOME COMMON MISTAKES THAT YOU SHOULD AVOID!!!
Spraying the scale with a hose to clean it! - corrupts the electrical circuits….
Accidentally cutting your scale's power cord with the downswing of a sharp knife is really not good for your scale at all ….
A colony of cockroaches living inside your scale can be the cause of significant damage, as they expel a chemical that corrodes circuit boards.
Dropping heavy objects on your scale can cause serious problems ….
As can various other forms of impact-related damage (see photo below)....
From mixing resins to mixing foodstuffs, the ACS Super-SS general purpose bench scale is one of Advasco's bestsellers.
The Super SS is a compact bench scale that Advasco imported especially for the processing market, coming in 30kg, 15kg or 6kg capacities (ex-stock).
What makes the Super SS so popular with our customers?
- Bright and easy to read display
- Fast response rate
- Easy care, low maintenance
- Great value for money
The Super SS is being used successfully in a number of food processing factories - and has survived!
These are not "Weights and Measures" approved for the final weighing so should be used accordingly.
Details:
- Stainless Steel Platform: 190x230mm
- Units: Kg/g/lb
- Waterproof sensor, waterproof charger, double red LED display
- Waterproof grade IP68
- Load cell OIML
- Waterproof keypad
- Auto calibration, Auto zero tracking
-
AC or rechargeable battery 6V4.5Ah
A note about caring for the Super SS: as with any electronic device it is not so much the water that causes corrosion problems as the chlorine-based cleaning chemicals - the chlorine fumes are able to cause damage in places water never get reach.
